The Gateway welcomes new merchants

Salt Lake City — The Gateway is pleased to announce new merchants with offerings that cater to Salt Lake City locals and visitors alike.

The former sports bar ‘Bout Time has re-opened as The Bruce Scottish Pub. A full-service sports pub, the name is a tribute to William Ray Bruce (local restauranteur, lost too young to cancer), a descendent of Robert the Bruce, King of Scots. The menu blends with traditional pub fare with Scottish culinary classics, such as Bangers and Mash, Cullen Skink, and Scotch Pies. Novices and connoisseurs will be delighted by the robust whiskey selection, in addition to many beers on tap.

The boba tea craze comes to The Gateway with the opening of the third Pearl Milk Tea Club location and the first in Salt Lake City. Offering, a variety of flavors and styles that can be mixed, the sky’s the limit on how customers can enjoy their boba drink. No two Pearl Milk experiences are alike as delicious, new combinations are created daily.

Discover your inner artist at Hawaii Fluid Art, a one-of-a-kind art experience. The franchise’s only Utah art studio welcomes people of all ages. It provides artists of all ability levels the opportunity to learn and experience new art techniques in a semi-private, safe, professional setting through varied classes and experiences. Fluid art, resin art, and other experiences are offered. The experience caters to date nights, family nights, ladies’ nights, church groups, team building, and more.

“We are excited by the re-concepting of the former ‘Bout Time and to welcome Hawaii Fluid Art and Pearl Milk Tea Club,” says Julissa Breslin, The Gateway’s director of marketing. “Businesses are recognizing that The Gateway has become a desirable place for them thanks to Vestar fulfilling its vision to create a dynamic, community-focused destination. They have opened just in time to take advantage of all the visitors our summer events attract.”
