Resident Evil 9 “should be out soon and released next year.”

According to horror leaker Dusk Golem, who posted the news on Twitter/X yesterday:

“Good news/rumors regarding Resident Evil 9,” Dusk tweeted at the time.

“The possible delays I’ve been hearing whispers about can be put aside. [Resident Evil 9] It should go live soon and be released next year. If what I heard before is true, it should be January.It’s been about 7 years since then [development]. ”

While Golem was right about some of the early leaks, particularly those regarding Silent Hill 2 Remake, Alone in the Dark, and Resident Evil: Village, their record is far from complete. Therefore, this can only be taken as a rumor using a giant bucket. Salt for now.

However, given that Village and Resident Evil 4 Remake were both announced during the PlayStation State of Play event, many fans are wondering if this news could come at the rumored PlayStation Showcase later this month. I am guessing (in other words, expecting) that it means that it will be done.
