“Ookami to Koushinryo ~Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf~” Additional cast, staff, and third promotion released

The official website of Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf (Spice and Wolf: A merchant meets a wise wolf) Additional staff, continuing cast, and third promotional video for the TV anime were released on Thursday. The anime will be broadcast on TV Tokyo, TV Osaka, and TV Aichi from 1:30 a.m. on April 2nd, and later on BS TV Tokyo and AT-X.

Mai Nakahara (Higurashi no Naku Koro ni), Houchuu Ootsuka (golden kamuy), Hozumi Goda (Vampire Knight), and Daisuke Namikawa (Haikyu!!) once again voices characters from previous animated series.

Singer-songwriter final action (Hametsu no Oukoku) was in charge of the opening theme “Tabi no Yukue”. clarissa (Hataraku Saibou)’s ending theme “Andante”. Both songs are previewed in the promotional videos below.

Hijiri Sanpei (Joshikousei no Mudazukai I am directing an anime in passion with chief director Takeo Takahashi (Ookami to Koushinryou director). Kevin Penkin (Made in Abyss, Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari) is in charge of composing the song.

series adapts Isuna Hasekurasan’s fantasy romance light novel This work was submitted to the Dengeki Novel Award in 2005 and won the Silver Prize. Media Works (later ASCII Media Works, now KADOKAWA) began publishing the series under the Dengeki Bunko label in February 2006, featuring illustrations. Top Ayakura. KADOKAWA shipped Volume 24 in January 2023.

Hasekura releases spin-off light novel Shinsetsu Ookami to Koushinryou: Ookami to Youhisi (The Wolf and the Parchment: A New Story Spice and Wolf) Volume 9 was released in September 2016 in July 2023.

Yen Press licensed both light novels in English. Volume 24 of the main story will be released in August 2023, and volume 8 of the spin-off will be released on May 21st.
