Jason Medley to Present on Merchant Cash Advance, Factoring Agreements at ABI Rocky Mountain Bankruptcy Conference

Spencer Fane attorney Jason Medley will join a panel presentation at the American Bankruptcy Institute’s (ABI) 2024 Rocky Mountain Bankruptcy Conference on June 13 in Vail, Colorado.

During his presentation, Merchant Cash Advance and Factoring Agreements, Jason will discuss the history and progression of the merchant cash advance and its effects on debtors and senior secured creditors: true sale, usury, and tortious interference analysis.

The ABI’s annual program brings together regional judges and top practitioners for two days of interactive and informative programming on timely insolvency topics. Attendees will hear about the hottest topics and learn about economic trends, all while strengthening professional connections.

Fellow Spencer Fane attorney David Miller serves on the Advisory Board for the conference and has previously served as a moderator and panelist. He works closely with individuals and companies, providing guidance and counsel in all aspects of bankruptcy law and commercial litigation. David represents varied constituents in bankruptcy matters and litigation, including Chapter 11 debtors, secured and unsecured creditors alike, and Chapter 7 trustees.
